INCCert develops and administers the Responsible Bast Standard (RBS), a certification framework for responsible hemp, flax and linen supply chains.

RBS builds on the Responsible Hemp Standard (RHS), expanding a common foundation for responsible production, processing, traceability and credible claims across bast fiber supply chains.

What We Do

INCCert develops and maintains certification standards, publishes program requirements and claims rules, and supports implementation across the supply chain.

Our role is to establish clear, credible requirements that can be applied from agricultural production through processing, manufacturing and trade.

Independent Certification

Audits and certification are conducted independently by Control Union, INCCert’s certification partner.

This separation between standard-setting and certification helps protect the integrity and credibility of the program.

We work with producers, processors, manufacturers, brands, certification bodies and industry organizations to build practical standards that support more transparent and accountable supply chains.
